Katzelkraft - Never ride faster than...

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft project :))

I needed a birthday card for a young guy who will soon be upgrading to a more powerful machine - this new Katzelkraft stamp was just what I was looking for!

I kept the card very simple. For the background, I applied gray acrylic paint to the card and used an old credit card to spread it over the card. I then stamped the motorcycle. I only colored the gas tank and the fender of the bike and kept everything else in shades of gray.
The splatters around the motorcycle are part of the stamp - I added the smaller ones above.
I stamped the quote (found on Pinterest) with single letter stamps, cut it into labels and stuck them on.
Finally, I scrawled shadows under the bike.
I also embossed the left edge of the card before gluing it to a blank card. It looks like a tire pattern and I really like that.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Katzelkraft - One Brave Thing

Hi everyone,
It's Katzelkraft day! :)

The dog wanted to play a trick on the rat and now he has to run like hell. Ha ha ha

I hope you like the funny scene I created with the "You are Purrfect" set from the Dainius collection and the "City Rats". I used watercolors and alcohol ink markers for coloring. I spread washi tape shreds on the ground but you can hardly see them because I colored them with Distress Oxide inks. The sentence I stamped with single letter stamps.

Hello Spring

Hi everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club
This month we are celebrating

 Vappu
Vappu is celebrated annually on May 1st and marks the end of winter for the Finnish people. It is also celebrated as International Labour Day and is one of the biggest festivals of the year in Finland alongside Midsummer's Day and Christmas.

We say:
Anything Goes with the theme of Spring!
.

I moistened watercolor paper and stamped flowers, foliage and two bees on it. I only used aqua markers - no black. After the colors had spread on the damp paper and the paper had dried, I stamped the same flowers in the same places, varying the intensity of the colors.
I then cut the panel to size and punched a border at the bottom. Backed it with blue paper, glued it to an embossed background and then to a blank card.
Finally, I die cut the "Hello" and the letters for the word "Spring" and added them to the card.

Have Fun! ;)

We Travel...

Hi everyone!
I have the great honor to be a Guest Designer at the Male Room this month.
The theme is: "Planes, Trains and Automobiles"

Of course, I immediately thought of the new stamps from Katzelkraft for this challenge!

I love creating little scenes, so I combined the Citroën 2CV with the house from the Seaside set (also Katzelkraft). As you can see, it works quite well.
Both images I colored first with watercolors and then highlighted the shadow areas with alcohol markers. I cut them out and glued them onto a background, which was made with Distress Oxides.
I stamped the quote (Kaisercraft) and cut it into labels, otherwise it wouldn't have fit in terms of size. Glued on the single words and outlined them with a black fineliner.

Hope you like it. Perhaps you will find time to take up the challenge...
See you soon!

Katzelkraft - Fabulous Shoes

Hi everyone!
Katzelkraft has released new stamps
This cool giraffe is one of the fun animals you'll find in the new collection :))

Isn't she pretty in her fancy shoes?

I colored and cut out the giraffe. Stamped the sneaker part a second time with pink ink and then traced the edges and laces with black fine liner. Added darker pink shadows and white dots + a little green and Wink of Stella to make them glitzy. Cut them out and glued them on.
The quote I found on Pinterest. I stamped lots of single letters, cut them into labels and put them together to form the words. I glued everything onto a background that I had previously sponged with blue and gray Distress Oxide ink and stamped with a crackle pattern. - I also added some black splatters.
As a finishing touch, I outlined the words of the quote with black fineliner.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

HELLO

Hi everyone!
We are entering the second half of our current challenge at the Dream Factory.

Our Movie:
They Cloned Tyrone

Redesign one of our cards in your own way
or
Use something Twice

This time I really cloned and this little bear was perfect for it!
I stamped and cut out the bear and hat twice each. Colored the bears with alcohol ink markers. - I didn't need to do this for the hat because it was stamped on a piece of gel print.
The ATC is also a piece of gel print on which I stamped a background pattern (on the left) an a few trees. I taped the bottom edge with washi tape then stuck on the bears and the HELLO sticker. Hope you like my twins! :))

Happy cloning!!

Katzelkraft - And the Adventure begins

Hi everyone!

Have you already noticed that Katzelkraft has released new stamps? -
Take a look ;)) - you'll see, the new collection is just fantastic!

But that's not all!
Another great piece of news is that Katzelkraft has acquired the Stampotique brand and that these stamps will soon be available in the Katzelkraft store
...so the adventure begins!
They will start with a brand new collection and then gradually produce the older stamps as well.
I'll let you know as soon as I have more news.

For my first project, I used the new Combi VW and combined it with the somewhat older Pabo, dog and accessories.

I used the paper piecing technique for Pabo's outfit and accessories. - This saves coloring :))
I colored the Combi and the dog with watercolors and alcohol ink markers.
For the background and ground, I simply dabbed on some color.
The sentiment I stamped in three steps so that it fitted in well.

As you can see, these new stamps can also be combined really well with the older Katzelkraft stamps. - The possibilities are endless! ;)

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)
